NICETUCK
The Nicetuck system used in Tiber Pack cartoners is a modern carton closing technology that eliminates the need for hot melt glue. The solution was developed for manufacturers looking to reduce operating costs, lower energy consumption, and increase the reliability of their packaging lines.
In traditional cartoning systems, glue must be stored, heated, and regularly maintained through hot melt units. Nicetuck technology completely removes this stage by using a special mechanical carton closing system without any adhesive materials.
As a result, a single production line can reduce glue consumption by as much as 5,000–15,000 kg per year. This means not only significant cost savings, but also a lower environmental impact and simplified logistics related to purchasing and storing consumable materials.
An additional advantage is the reduction of electricity consumption by up to 12,000–15,000 kWh per year on a single production line. Eliminating hot melt units also means fewer production stoppages, no need to clean glue systems, and lower maintenance costs.
The Nicetuck system helps improve overall production efficiency through:
- higher line performance,
- reduced maintenance work,
- lower operating costs,
- simplified packaging processes,
- a more sustainable approach to production.
This technology is used in industries such as food, confectionery, bakery, and anywhere fast and cost-effective cartoning is essential.
